Apple Carrot and Ginger Juice Recipe

By JULIE - 9:25:00 AM

Watching the documentary the Gerson Miracle inspired me to juice more often.  If you haven't seen it you should check it out, you can watch it online for free. It's about a doctor who was healing people naturally of cancer.  Another great documentary to check out that will inspire you to juice is Fat Sick and Nearly Dead (you can watch it for free).

I bought my Jack Lalanne juicer a few years ago, when I had an awesome crop of cucumbers (my first year gardening and it was just about all that grew) and I didn't know what to do with them.  I discovered a mexican juice recipe for cucumbers I feel in love with you can see that recipe here. But that's all I really use it for.

So while watching the Gerson Miracle I thought about just how many vegtables and fruits they were eating with their 13 juice drinks a day.  Wow!  Maybe that's a bit much for the average person, but what about 2-3 glasses a day.  How many fruits and vegetables would you get in a day then?  What kind of natural nutrition would you get every day?  So that inspired this recipe.  The Gerson therapy uses apples and carrots a lot so this is a variation.
